Why I don’t include raw footage in my packages?

There is a whole process behind a movie. What you see on Netflix is usually a production that took about one year filming and editing with a full team available.

On your wedding day we only get one shot to film crucial moments and sometimes the raw footage is not what you expect.

Because the nature of this art is so delicate in a way, editing is a crucial part of the process.

Using good software, good music, and my creative input I am able to create a final movie that represents your wedding day in the best way possible.

The raw footage on its own won’t have the same effect and won’t feel any different than iPhone videos on your phone, the footage is usually recorded in small increments which is often misunderstood by the client as a bad job but it’s the equivalent of your photographer providing you with unedited photos.

You are absolutely not expected to know the background details of a videography job but to avoid any misunderstandings and not take away from the final product I choose not to include RAW footage.

I make sure to include everything that’s important (things, moments, people) and worth including in the final movie and I am very detail oriented in the process.
