HOW MANY HOURS IF I'M ON A BUDGET?

Let's start with your hair. If you booked hair and make up at 8:00 a.m you don't need me there that early. We can always "recreate" getting ready poses in the form of:

  • Touching up your make up.

  • Putting on the veil

  • Putting your shoes on etc.

If you think you will be "hair and make up" ready by 11:00 am. Start you video at 10:30. That gives video half an our to set up and be ready for detailed shots like the dress, invitations, rings, etc.

If you don't care at all about getting ready shots hire Video half an hour before anything starts. There is set up that takes at least 15 minutes like tripod, second camera and microphones.

When should it end?

There comes a time that the dancing is all the same. You don't really need video until the end especially if you are the drinking crowd. If you are having the dance floor open for 3 hours cut video after one hour. That's all we need to add to the clip. Unless you're from cultures that line dance till 5:00 am in the morning and want it all recorded. Fair enough.

5-6 hours can get you a nice coverage of main events in the form of:

1 hour Ceremony 5:00-6:00

1 hour Cocktail hour 6:00-7:00 ( Usually a time the couple takes pictures)

3 hours Reception 7:00-10:00 Speeches/Cake/ First dance

* Sometimes things do not go as scheduled. I give my clients the ability to add an extra hour at regular rates.
